The construction of La Plaza was a component that furthered the goals of the Downtown Revitalization plan developing a public plaza across from the Sunken Gardens Park in the Atascadero Mall. The project included 86 new parking spaces, new pedestrian and vehicular concrete flatwork, two steel pergola shade structures, concrete seat and planter walls, and associated improvements.
