Earth Systems Pacific is pleased to announce the addition of Girmay H. Weldegiorgis, PE to our management and engineering team. Girmay joins our offices in Fremont and Hollister to support in these rapidly growing areas of the company.
Girmay H. Weldegiorgis, PE
As a registered professional engineer in California, Girmay comes to Earth Systems with over 13 years of experience and a diverse background. Prior to joining the Earth Systems team, he held numerous positions including a geotechnical project manager in northern California where his duties included project management, planning, foundation engineering, settlement evaluations, slope stability analysis, seismic & liquefaction analysis, laboratory testing, instrumentation, as well as review of distressed structures and development of remediation options. He has also worked as a design engineer for various civil engineering projects. Girmay holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from Arbaminch University of Ethiopia, as well as a Master of Science in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering (M.S) from California State University, Sacramento. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Geotechnical Institute and has been active in the local chapters.
