Earth Systems conducted a geotechnical engineering investigation for the planned replacement hospital and central plant for the Antelope Valley Hospital located at 1600 West Avenue J in the city of Lancaster, California.

The replacement hospital is located southwest of the existing hospital. A central plant is also proposed. The proposed new hospital is to be four stories in height made of steel frame construction over one partial below-ground basement level. First floor area is approximately 131,000 square feet, with a 17,000 square foot covered loading dock area. Appurtenant site work is anticipated to include underground utilities, site paving for streets, driveways, utilities, perimeter walls, and landscaping.
