Earth Systems is currently seeking a Field Technician at our San Luis Obispo office.

Duties and responsibilities
- Fieldwork related to soils engineering and construction, including compaction testing of soils, aggregates, and asphalt.
- Observation of grading activities and foundation construction, identification and sampling of construction materials, and special inspection of concrete, masonry, and steel.
- Nuclear testing gauge, ACI, ICC, DSA, and AWS certifications preferred.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in geotechnical environment a plus.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft programs.
- Math, analytical, and writing skills are required and must be willing to “learn by doing.”
- Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
