The Truckhaven – San Felipe Exploration Program represents two, separate moderate temperature (320ºF to 360ºF) geothermal systems. It encompasses over 40 square miles of mixed federal, state, and private lands located southwest of Salton City in Imperial County. These systems are related to deep circulation of groundwater along faults and fractures within an area of elevated geothermal gradient.
