  • subgrade pad preparation,
  • underground utility installation,
  • parking lot construction,
  • and concrete driveway and sidewalks placement.

Earth Systems Southwest personnel conducted a geotechnical engineering investigation which entailed reconnaissance of the site, subsurface exploration, laboratory testing of selected soil samples, engineering analysis and evaluation, discussions on geologic conditions, and geologic and seismic hazards. The project site is located in the highly seismic Southern California region within the influence of several fault systems that are considered to be active or potentially active. Accordingly, Earth Systems recommendations contained seismic design parameters in accordance with the values and parameters given within the California Building Code.
