The Ojai Skate Park is located in the downtown area of Ojai, California. The concrete subterranean skate park replaced a previous wooden above-ground skate park. A national skate park design company was utilized along with professional skateboarders to provide project design.
Earth Systems prepared the geotechnical engineering report and provided recommendations for grading and structural design in soils with low density and groundwater issues. Earth Systems donated the cost of the geotechnical engineering report to the project to provide assistance to an initially underfunded project.
