The Joshua Ranch Hillside Development encompasses 793 acres where 539 residential lots are planned. The site is adjacent to the San Andreas Fault Zone; the associated geologic concerns are active faulting, land sliding, and debris flow. Earth Systems conducted a preliminary geological investigation to address these concerns. For this study geologic mapping, trench and test pit profile logging, drilling and soil sampling, laboratory testing, and geologic and engineering analysis were performed.
